Located just 35 minutes northeast of Washington, DC, Fairbrooke Farm includes ten acres of horse farm pastures, a barn, woods. stream, permaculture food-forest, and gardens.
Our vision is to welcome those who wish to learn from horses and the natural world. A working horse farm and organic garden in the Montgomery County Agricultural Reserve, the Farm’s animals include six horses, chickens, cats, and a dog.

The Barn
Join us under the eaves of the welcoming light-and-airy barn. Horses come and go as they choose and people are welcome to stay. You belong at the barn.
The Arena
A large arena provides a space for horses and humans to interact at liberty or partner for riding. The arena is a space for learning and fun.
Our Herd
We have a herd of six amazing Horses. Our horses are amazing teachers and will help you feel comfortable even if you are experiencing horses for the first time.
Nature
Enjoy ten acres of pasture, permaculture food-forest, garden, woods, and stream. Experience the wellbeing that comes from spending time in nature.
Gardens
We produce as much of our own food as possible as part of a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. Food growing consultations are available by appointment.
